Welcome to Nomicron! Nomicron.org is a repository of information for a game of Nomic that started on 2001-10-01. Nomicron began its third round on 2003-08-26 after the second Constitutional Convention. Turns begin every week at 10:00 PM CST Monday and end at 10:00 PM CST Saturday (Rule 201). Nomic is a game that begins with a set of rules, which are added to and amended throughout the course of the game. For a description of Nomic and its origins, read the web site of its inventor, Peter Suber. Mechanics of Play Nomicron is played through a combination of this web site and an email list. Players submit proposals and vote through the web site. The Administrator uses the mailing list to send official game messages. In addition, players may use the mailing list for the purpose of rule debate or otherwise communcating with all players. The archives of the mailing list are available here. Winner Catesby is the winner of Round 3! RFJ 5227 was overturned by Catesby in accordance with Rule 458, allowing the win based on the ruling on RFJ 5226. Per Rule 2, Nomicron entered Convention on 2004-02-06 07:23 CST.
